Rich racing history

Len Marchant started racing in 1974 using a Brabham BT21/28 in F.F. 1600 specification. The Marchant and Cox Company successfully sponsored The Lydden Hill F.F. 1600 championship for several years. Len was joined by his son Mark in 1984 competing with a Van Diemen, then a laser F.F. 1600 before becoming works driver for Jamun Racing winning Champion of Brands in 1994. In 1996 Mark won the Kent F.F. 1600 Festival at Brands Hatch.

Len continued racing until 1990 having raced at Zandvort and Zolder as well as several UK circuits.

Len and Mark both instructed at Brands Hatch for several years. Mark becoming a senior instructor. Luke Marchant younger brother of Mark ran successfully in junior classes in karting. Luke now works alongside Len in the family business.
